The SlingBlade band was formed in the late 1990's when a gathering of lifelong devotees to the genre of Blues/Rock music emerged from the Chicagoland area. SlingBlade consists of Miichael (DiDo) DiDominicis on vocals, Bob (Slick Pick) Spidale on lead guitar, Fred (Maddog) Krkoch on bass, Len (LA) Augustyn on guitar and blues harp, and Paul (the Professor) Jacobson on drums. SlingBlade will bring good-time Rock & Blues music to your establishment, festival or event. In addition to our original material, SlingBlade also covers artists like Muddy Waters, The Animals, Allman Brothers, ZZ Top, Joe Cocker, Los Lobos and Van Morrison. SlingBlade has played at many local venues including Phyllis' Musical Inn in Chicago, FitzGerald's SideBar in Berwyn, Rory's Music Cafe in Addison, Chicago City Limits in Schaumburg, and Mike & Denise's in Aurora. SlingBlade has also opened for top artists like Lonnie Brooks, Hot Rocks and Kashmir. We are seriously dedicated to what we do . . . provide great music and a good time in a profesional manner.
